How cold will Alsace Lorraine be in March?

We are looking to travel somewhere during my second trimester, and I've always heard good things about the Alsace Lorraine region of France, How cold will it be in March? We come from California, so are freezing at 50F :)

The average temp in Nancy is 43 Farenheit for March. I've been there in March, and it is nice, as long as it isn't raining. When it rains, it can be pretty miserable - I'm not one to complain much about the weather, but 40 degrees and rain is no fun.

Average high for March in Strasbourg is 53, low is 37, rainfall 1.11". It will be a bit colder higher up of course.

These are only averages so it could be warmer or colder than this.
Today it is supposed to be 50, but getting colder later in the week.

Unlike California Europe is in the temperate zone - with 4 seasons. And March is the end of winter/beginning of spring. I wouldn't expect temps much above 50 and would make sure you have waterproofed shoes/booties and sturdy umbrellas.

It is not too bad in March as far as temperature goes but it can rain quite a bit, so take appropriate clothing.
