How can I print advise?

There is so much useful info. on the various boards, but when I try to print it, all I get is the first page of advice. How can I print all responses to a giving posting?

Statia Jun 6th, 2005 09:26 AM

I select all the text I want to print by highlighting it. Then, I print the "selection."

Travelnut Jun 6th, 2005 09:27 AM

Right-click anywhere in the text, and click on 'select all'.
Right-click again and click 'print'.

However, after I click 'select all', I prefer to 'copy' then 'paste' to a Word document, so I can clean up the unused space, etc.

I would have advised you to check on the help button to find out how to print the advice you want.

I advise you there is other helpful advice there also.

What I do is click on the "Post my Reply" area and then print. That way the page doesn't get cut off and I don't end up with only all that stuff to the left of the screen. Happy Travels!

Jsmith: Touché! But I'm afraid it will go right over Treplow's head...

LOL,Jsmith. Are you sure your screen name is not a pseudonym for Ira?

Easy does it please...

I know (from earlier posts) that English is not treplow's first language (it's German).

treplow - follow what Travelnut suggests, copying and pasting onto a Word Document that you've created for that subject matter.

Eloise Jun 6th, 2005 10:54 AM

In that case, my apologies to Treplow.

But I'm fairly certain that not all the people who cannot differentiate between "advise" and "advice" speak English as a second language.

I copy/paste into a Word document and keep appending related threads like "Paris restaurants" etc. Then I can save it and reprint it easily if needed.

jsmith Jun 6th, 2005 11:37 AM

TuckH, thank you for letting me know that treplow first's language is German. I now feel doubly justified for pointing out the subtleties of English. Germans appreciate precision.

And I've now provided the opportunity to be corrected
