How can I find the names of car hire companies at Rimini Airport?

Please can anyone tell me of a website that gives the names of the hire car companies operating out of Rimini airport?
Thanks!
Pam

hi, pammca,

well now, have you heard of this invention called google?

you just put in your query "car hire at rimini airport" and out comes the answer!

adtually to be fair, out come several answers. I couldn't find any web-site giving a list, but there are about a dozen firms and their web-site addresses.

good luck,

regards, ann

I like to use Orbitz.com for car hire search.

They show a table with all the rental car co's, and the price for various size cars. I then go directly to the rental co website to book.

A quick search shows:

Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Europcar.

you can also book through autoeurope.com, which is a broker that works with several companies and usually has better rates.

Thank you both for your replies ..... I have indeed heard of Google (even here in the UK!!) and use it all the time.
However, I was hoping to find hire car information like that given in the website www.aeroportoditorino.it
where all the hire car companies at the airport are listed in an impartial fashion!
However, after googling extensively, it looks like the airport at Rimini doesn't give this information, so I'll have to find the companies via a broker.
Thanks again

Hi, Pammca,

sorry to have been such a smarta..e [as our american cousins might say].

it is usually a good idea to explain what you have already done to answer your own question, so as not to lure people like me into teaching our grandmothers to suck eggs.

it is a shame that airports don't routinely gather all this type of information, publish maps of their lay-out, restaurant facilties, etc.

but then they aren't run for the convenience of travellers, are they?

good luck with your hiring,

regards, ann

You can check out page 10/11 of this pdf leaflet from Rimini's airport authority:

http://www.riminiairport.com/pdfs/ca...rvizi_2007.pdf

Seems as if they got Sixt, Europcar, Hertz, Avis, and Travelcar at the airport.
