How can I contact Amex offices in Italy?

I've tried the email addresses on the American Express website for both Florence and Venice offices several times, with no results, except an "undeliverable" message on Florence. Would faxes be more successful? I just want some information about tours...

You can probably get that information by contacting one of the Amex travel offices in the US.

Good idea, HowardR. I have emailed the office closest to us. Don't know why I didn't come up with that simple solution!

Byrd
Byrd, if you don't get an email response, I'd give them a call. We took one of Amex's half-day tours in Venice and were very pleased. Our tour guide's name was Simona, and she was excellent.

HowardR- I'm still waiting to hear from the "local" Amex office. We, too, took the great half-day tour in Venice (might have had the same guide) and really want to take it again with our friends (three couples), who will be visiting Venice for the first time. Did you happen to take the Amex-sponsored gondola rides that have been mentioned on this forum?

Byrd

No, we didn't Boyd, but from what I read, I guess that perhaps it's a good way of doing it without feeling you're being overcharged!

Sorry, I called you Boyd, instead of Byrd!
