How can I book this flight ?
 

I’m searching for a flight from FRA to ATH on the morning of the 16th September, 2007. Using ITA Software search, I have located Aegean Airlines S.A. Flight A3 1830 (operated by Lufthansa Airlines as Flight LH3380) at 9:30 direct which is perfect as I arrive in FRA at 5:40. The cost for 2 people is about A$600 which is not cheap but reasonable. ITA cannot book the flight, they say to contact the airline.

Next on Aegean’s booking site, that flight does not appear. It does, however appear on Lufthansa’s site but the cost is a ridiculous A$3,500 !

So I have 2 questions, has anyone travelled from FRA to ATH in the morning in September and are there other flights/airlines available if I wait until closer to the date? and if flight A3 1830 is the best option, how can I book it at the cheaper price?

Chop, you can book your flight online at http://www.aegeanair.com/aegeanen/home/. No need to rush, though - most people wait until after the New Year to book their summer flights.

check www.whichbudget.com for low cost airlines. A brief glance doesn't show any FRA to ATH flights, but plenty from other German cities on DBA and Air Berlin.

Aegean has flights between Frankfurt and Athens, and earlier today were quoting a price of €39 one-way for the date Chop mentioned.
