Hours for Accademia -- Florence
 

I am surprised to see that the Accademia -- Florence official website lists Saturday hours for July closing at 18:50, however the official ticket website sells reservations to 21:00 implying it may be open until 10 pm? So what are the hours on Saturdays in July? And my hunch is that it would be a waste of money to get a reservation for a Saturday night.

Why would you think a ticket agency's website would be more accurate than the museum's official website?

The museum closes at 6:50p on Saturdays in July. The last entry is at 6:20p

On a Saturday AFTERNOON in July, I'd want a reservation.

It's not an agency website it's the official one that has b-ticket in the name.

It's www.b-ticket.com showing extended hours Tuesdays and Saturdays in July at least.

Tom_mn, if you look a little further down on the page Jean linked above, there's an item listed under events regarding late hours on Tuesday and Saturday through mid-December. So it looks like the ticket reservation page is correct.

Great, that works perfectly for me. I didn't see that notice but had been alerted to the possibility. I am sure reservations will not be necessary after 8 pm on a Saturday.
