Hotel Residenza Canali - Rome.
If you have your own laptop, the staff will have a cable for you to access internet in the lobby for free.

Hotel Mark in Munich, near the train station. There is free internet in the lobby, and they allow you to use it even after you've checked out. (Well, probably just for that same day.)

Just buy a drink and bring your own laptop. I had my wireless enabled PDA. You can stay as long as your battery holds out.
