Hotels STEPS away from Piccadilly line
I know many, many hotels are near Piccadilly tube line stations, but I wonder if any are as close as Bailey’s or Gloucester Millennium? These two are literally steps from the Gloucester Road tube station, across a little side street.
We have used these two interchangeably and happily, for years, but one wonders…… Call it the 7 or 14 year travel itch. (I don’t mean “a few blocks away” or “ a short walk away” ~ I mean literal steps.) Thank you! |
Quite a few - some VERY pricey, some not . . . Mandarin Oriental, the Ritz, The Dilly, St Pancras Renaissance, L'oscar, Russell Square Hotel, Great Northern, The Standard, the Megaro each of these are within steps of a Piccadilly line station.

Thank you ~ will be fun to research these names.

If you use Google maps you can center on a tube station and then ask for hotels in that area. You can use "show map" with booking.com for a similar result.
If you want to keep the price down, there's a Premier Inn very close to King's Cross. |
There are probably a dozen hotels within one block of Kings Cross - including 3 Premier Inns and a PI Hub.

The OP said steps, not a block. There can be a significant difference if you are mobility challenged. That's why I suggested the King's Cross Premier Inn and not the St. Pancras.
