hotels/pubs in Dublin

Hello,

I'm trying to decide on a hotel in Dublin and was hoping for some feedback. I've been looking at the Harding Hotel and the Trinity Arch Hotel. Any thoughts?

Also, I'm a female traveling alone. Any places that you would recommend for good music that a woman could go on her own and feel comfortable?

Thanks!

Your best bet would be to ask the hotel staff for their suggestions. Don't be afraid to venture out and step up to the bar!

Try thee Arlington Hotel in the centre overlooking the Liffey. Food excellent and there is live entertainment in the bar every night from 20.30 - 23.00.

I visited there last week but stayedin the Royal Dublin Hotel in O'Connell Street which was a first class establishment.

Always remember the expresion when you are in Dublin... 'Pog Ma Thon' and you will be welcome anywhere.

Just in case you don't know it Kris, 'Pog Ma Thon' means "kiss my a**."

Is that the correct spelling? Or did the Pogues take liberty with the band's name?
