Hotels on Left Bank Paris and airport shuttle
Read the hotel thread.
Anyone stay lately in Hotel St. Christophe, Grande Hotel des Gobellins or Hotel Media? Looking for hotel or apt 4 nights in Sept 5th or 6th arr.
Also, our departure from CDG on the 20th is at 7:45 AM. We need a very fool proof shuttle at 5AM. Any suggestions?

We stayed in Hotel Saint Christophe in 2002 and it was fine then. I think the reviews on Tripadvisor reflect a good quality, and the location is more convenient than Hotel Media in the 13th.
Another option for transport is the private shuttle service, Shuttle-Inter for 55€ flat rate, no other passenger pickups before actually departing for CDG. I have not personally used but you can find a boatload of good comments about them on the TA Paris forum.
