Hotels Near Heathrow

We have an early morning flight out of Heathrow. We will be arriving from Copenhagen the night before. Does anyone know of a hotel in the area not too far from the airport? We would appreciate any help.

There is a Jury's Inn at Hatton Cross which is one stop on the tube from Heathrow. The hotel is about 5 min walk from Hatton Cross tube but there is nothing around, nowhere to eat or shops.

There is also a Yotel inside Heathrow airport. It's a new pod hotel that charges minimum 4 hrs then each hour after that. We stayed at the one at Gatwick and it was fine. If you click on my name (above) you will find a short report.

There are really good deals on priceline for hotels at Heathrow. If you check biddingfortravel web site, it will give you an idea of successful bids. Often people get the Sheraton Skyline or the Holiday Inn. I've stayed at both at very reasonable prices. All the Heathrow hotels have a shuttle service to the airport. The Yotel is more expensive but about as convenient as it gets.

If you want a hotel slightly away from the ones at the airport, there is the Continental which is at West Hounslow tube.

For something inexpensive near(ish) to the airport, there is the Rosemount Hotel in Hounslow also not far from West Hounslow tube, which opened Nov 2007, single rooms are very small but doubles are OK.

Hounslow is not great but there are eating places in the High Street.

Any suggestions for hotels close to Heathrow Terminal 5 for an early morning flight to Los Angeles on May 4. Thank you

We stayed at the Hilton, which connects directly to Terminal 4. We liked it a lot, but you have to take a shuttle or something to Terminal 5.

Staying at T4 for T5 doesn't make much sense. They are practically in different counties.

pcobbpowers: What is your budget? There is a Sofitel at T-5 but it is expensive. There are other off-airport hotels that are cheaper.

And if you want something really special, Coworth Park is 20 minutes from Heathrow. An absolutely stunning luxury hotel.

We've stayed at the Novotel Heathrow, and it worked very nicely. It was the first stop on the airport shuttle bus, making the hotel very convenient.

The Sofitel a Y 5 is fab, or the Hilton is Colnbrook is very very good,

Without knowing the terminal it's difficult.

However, we stayed at a Sheraton, five minute from T5. But it was twenty minutes back to our flight, all done on the Heathrow bus.

Sheraton was not expensive. Eating there was not the best, but we were OK.

Good location for T5.

iris1745 - we do know the terminal. This is an old thread that was topped to ask about a T-5 hotel.

What we don't is the budget . . .

janisj; You are SO GOOD Thanks.

I thought I was suggesting a hotel, BUT??

iris1745 Oct 18th, 2013 01:10 PM

P.S. An inexpensive hotel.

Premier Inn Terminal 5. Take free bus 423 from Terminal 5 or the Hoppa.
