Hotels in Zurich
 

Can anyone recommend a good hotel 3 or 4 stars.

I just returned from Zurich and highly recommend the Central Plaza. One block from the train station and shopping. It's right on the river. The room was small but very nice. There is a piano man in the hotel bar that is so entertaining. We spent every evening there after dinner.

I also like the Central for location, room quality, and history. Back in the cold war days this hotel was famous as the place where all the "spooks" from all sides liked to frequent the piano bar. Lots of intrigue and cloak and dagger things happened in this very lobby and bar.....

Hotel Zum Storchen is really nice.
