Hotels in Venice, Florence, Sorrento(or Praino), and Rome

I am looking for some recommendations on hotels in Venice, Florence, Sorrento(or Praino), and Rome. I would like a place that is no more than $175/night in Venice and Sorrento or Praino and no more than $150/night in Florence and Rome.

I am looking for hotels where breakfast is included.

In Venice I would like either Sam Marco or San Palo.

Hi B,

We very much enjoyed our stay at http://lesirene.com/ in Praiano.

We stayed in Florence at http://www.bedinflorence.it/. It is basic, but has AC, inexpensive, in a residential neighborhood and about a 10 min walk from the train station. Several buses stop at the door. We very much enjoyed our visit.

They don't serve breakfast, but there is a very nice cafe next door.

Enjoy your trip.

For those not already familiar with this poster's trip, it's in May. (Bella, in some places, rates vary greatly by the season.)

Thanks jean for your confirmation that my trip is in may.
Since you seem to be familiar with my posts , would you be so kind to give some hotel recommendations?

Ira, thanks. I will look at them.

I'm sorry, but I have no recommendations in your budget range. I'd be searching sources just like you are.

Thanks Jean. I will continue searching. I'm thinking Hotwire where you purchase a hotel based on Stars and location and the name is revealed after the purchase.

You're a braver person than I...

Hotwire's the last place I'd turn to. If you're okay with a totally opaque site where you don't know the hotel until you've paid for it, why even ask for suggestions here?
