Does anyone of a recommendation for a hotel in the plaka area for two parents and a6 year old. Want a room big enought to accomodate three of us in regular beds if possible.

The Attalos Hotel is just a short walk from the Plaka. It was refurbished in 2003 for the Olympics so everything is in good shape.

The area is fine. It's on Athinas Street, 2 blocks from the edge of the Plaka and the Monastiraki Metro Station. You can get to and from the airport from this Metro Station with no transfers required.

The Hotel Adrianou is (surprise) on Adrianou Street, the main drag in the Plaka. Excellent location, very nice hotel.
