hotels in rome near train station
 

any suggestions on hotels within walking distance to the station. Need to go to the airport in the morning and would like the convenience.

If you already have your train tickets you *can't* get any closer to the Airport Train than the 3* Hotel Kennedy www.hotelkennedy.net The Airport Train boards *way* down the track from the front of the station. From the hotel to the side entrance of the station is ~100M. Closer to the train than if you arrived by taxi, bus or metro. Regards, Walter

San Giorgio Hotel is on via G. Amendola, which is one street over from entrance to Termini. I'd estimate the walk to be about 1 minute. This is not a cheap hotel, however. The one good thing about it is that it is completely soundproofed, which is a necessity being so close to Termini. Tel:06/4885441

stayed in hotel morgana last year, nice and reasonable and very close to the train station.....it was either a fodor or fromer recommendation.
