Hotels in Rome...Help!

Looking for a good hotel in Rome with a good location for the beginning and end of my honeymoon. We are looking to spend about $200 a night.

Hi
check the rates at the Santa Chiara.
Wonderful little hotel, excellent location. Albergo del Senato is also often recommended here.

Hotel delle Regioni, room 2. I've stayed there 3 times. Room 2 is very quiet; the window opens onto an interior courtyard so there is no street noise. It's on Via Zuchelli just off Via del Tritone, down the hill from Piazza Barberini. Via Zuchelli will take you uphill to the top of the Spanish Steps.

For somewhere around your budget, I would also recommend the Hotel La Residenza, just a block or so off Via Veneto in a nice part of the city and a quick stroll from the top of the Spanish Steps. I've stayed there several times and have always enjoyed the rooms, the breakfast, and the service. Good luck.

It is closer to $250 dollars but the Albergo del Senato is excellent. Unbeatable location next to the Pantheon, excellent service, nice rooms, and an awesome rooftop bar. A four star hotel for the price of a three star. Stayed at the five star St Regis Grand on previous trip but liked the del Senato more.
