Tim, I stayed at the Hotel Due Torri a few blocks from the pantheon and Piazza Navonna and loved it. Charming, personable and convenient. Some fine restaurants in the vicinity. Is there a specific neighborhood you want to be in?

Lucy:Thanks for the response. I do not have a specific area except that its convienent, safe, and nice. Tim
PS I gather you are from Minnesota from your email?? I am from Mpls.

Actually, "nospam.com" is an imaginary address concocted to avoid spam e-mail. For info on the Due Torri and tons of other views/reviews on hotels, just due a search on Rome hotels in this forum. Good luck!

Everyone knows that i am the poster child for the Hotel Due torri. Is a nice small hotel in a quiet neighborhood near the Piazza navona. It is convenient to everything including the Poazza Navona, Spanish Steps and Vatican (a short walk). The bathrooms are moderns and the rooms are cozy. They have a nice continental breakfast included in the peice and the staff is very friendly, helpful and speaks good English. I have soem pics and more info about it on my personal websight.

http://home.earthlink.net/~richardab

After the home page follow the path to ROME.

My sight also has info about good restaurants, shopping and more. If you have any questions send me an email!
