Looking for hotel suggestions for 4 nights in March. Mid range price wise.
Thanks

"Mid-range" is too vague. How much exactly in euros do you want to spend per night?

We always stay at the Hotel Frón in Reykyavik, but we seek out bargains and often get it for about 50 € a night, which for us is quite a steal for a very nice hotel in the center of things.

I looked up your hotel and they are asking $190 dollars per night. Wondering how it cost you 50 euros? Anyway I was expecting to spend up to $250 per night. Thanks

Hilton Canopy was really nice and centrally located with a great breakfast! Not sure if they are midrange or not. We were there on points in May.

I am afraid mid range is quite vague...
Here you have a comparison between hotels and Airbnbs. Maybe one of those might suit your needs:

here are the 2 hotels I stayed in last time:

http://aldahotel.is/
http://kvosinhotel.is/

I liked both. the alda has a roof top/shared balcony for most rooms which had a nice view, and the kvosin has a small, but very cute/modern, kitchenette area in each of its rooms. I thought both were well located. I ended up liking kvosin a bit more, but I would recommend both.

oh, I should add we stayed in feb 2016, and paid about $225ish USD per night. I think kvosin was slightly cheaper.

We stayed in an apartment called "Alvin's Comfort" arranged through Rent in Reykjavik. In September, we paid about $110/night for 6 nights. Beautiful place, convenient location.

Thanks everyone. Wound up doing the package with icelandair and their Marina Hotel. Price was right and the hotel looks like a fun place to be.
