Hi there,

You will get more responses if you tell us your price range...reasonable means different things to different people.

adrienne Jul 9th, 2009 04:07 AM

What do you mean by quaint area? What does quaint look like to you? Does it matter if a quaint area is not near any sightseeing?

kerouac Jul 9th, 2009 04:12 AM

"Quaint" covers about 85% of the surface of Paris in most people's minds.

Dukey Jul 9th, 2009 04:50 AM

Does "quaint" include air conditioning, an elevator, etc.?

Michel_Paris Jul 9th, 2009 05:48 AM

how many people, kids/seniors, special requirements, extras need (room service,etc..) love walking, love using metro, quiet, near clubs....

Hi mmg,

Ditto, all of the above.

However,

In Paris, we always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. From 134E dbl w/bkfst. It is just around the corner from Place St. Sulpice, near 3 metro stops and 4 bus routes. Has AC and an elevator.

The staff speaks English well, and is very helpful. The front desk is staffed 24/7

They can arrange a shuttle pickup to/from CDG for you.

Other option is an appartment stay, depending on how long you will be there

One I liked...great location

There are also some nice, bit pricier ones on Ile St Louis. One of my favs for location.

They also own the Hotel des deux Iles on the island.

And where it is a good idea to browse once you have some names to get reviews

Hi MMG -

I recommend Hotel Madison on Blvd. St. Germain in the 6th. Breakfast is included, and it's a good base for sightseeing.
