Hotels In Paris

Hi. My wife and I will be in Paris for 4 days June/July. We would like to stay in the area by the Lourve and looking for hotel suggestions around $150-$200. Thanks.

We loved the Hotel de Notre Dame. Do a search in the box above and you'll find many rec's. There are similary named hotels...this is the one on Rue Maitre Albert.

Great location: left bank, right across from Notre Dame, the Seine is right out the front door. 157 euro, double. I can't remember if they have A/C.

We liked the Hôtel Mansart, which is just off the Place Vendôme and thus within walking distance of the Louvre--and many good places to eat. Be sure to request a room with a/c, as I'm not sure whether it's in all rooms yet.

Check out the du Danube , d'Angleterre, or Verneuil on the left bank and less than a 10 minute walk from the Louvre...and with a lot more places to sit,eat and drink! Though the Danube does not have A/C, so that might be a problem..the others do. we had friends who just stayed at the Lenox and really liked it. The Britianique, nr the Louvre also gets good reviews,

Though we haven't stayed there Le Walt isn the 7th is lovely and only about a year old and four star. I have seen several rooms. I saw aspecial on the internet but don't remember which sit and it was just over 200 euro. You might email or call and ee if they have any specials for your times.

Hotel de Notre Dame has nice rates for that location, but I believe there isn't any a/c.

I stayed at the Danube and at the Verneuil. The Vernueil has a/c and I preferred it overall to the Danube.

We just returned from Paris on Friday. Stayed at the Hotel Britannique in the 1st. Lovely, super clean hotel in a perfect location; we walked to the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Marais, and the Latin Quarter. We paid 156 euro per night for a double. Great reviews on Tripadvisor. If interested, I would ask for a room facing the street if possible.
One thing that I have to add- we were still in Paris when the fire broke out on Friday. Like most hotels in Paris, the Britannique has only one staircase and there were smoke alarms in the hallways but none in the rooms. We did feel slightly uneasy staying up on the 6th floor, even before the fire. I would definitely stay there again but would ask about a lower floor.
