Hotels in Nice, france

I need help in finding a decent, clean hotel near the old part of Nice.We will be there in late June so A/C is a must. Thankyou fellow travellers.

Hotel Negresco is superb, the rooms, the service, the staff - whenever I'm in Nice I stay there. However, I am not really a fan of Nice, and would never choose to travel there out of choice; Italy is so much more charming than France.

the Perouse is where I stayed, surrounded by lemon trees, that almost tasted like grapefruit.

Next time I will be in Nice, I hope to stay at La Perouse, hopefully in a sea view room.

I will be traveling to Nice in June also. I am staying at the Hotel Suisse. It is located near the old Nice. Our rate with a superior room w/terrace is 160E a night. Good luck with your search!

Try the Boscolo Plaza or the Sofitel Nice.

Both Italy and France are very charming, the whole of France cannot be judged on whether one likes Nice or not.

You didn't indicate how many would be traveling, but our family of four will be in Nice in July and after some recommendations on this forum, we made reservations at the Citadines Nice Ave Des Fleurs Apart'hotel. This is a suite which has refrigerator, kitchenette, etc. A quad room for four people is 160 EUR per night. If you are traveling alone, you might not need the kitchen. Good luck! Have fun! gingergirl
