Hotels in Milan and stressa
 

Hi wanting to stay in Milan and Stressa. Anyone stayed at Petit Palais or cristoforo Colombo in Milan. Are they central and good. It will be October. The hotel in Stressa is grand hotel desiles borromees. Also is it central.

The Stresa hotel is on an island in the lake so you would need to get the ferry across each time to go anywhere else.

I haven’t personally stayed at Hotel Petit Palais in Milan, but friends who have told me only good things about it. They loved its prime location, just a 15-minute walk from the Duomo, and praised the refined atmosphere and elegant décor.
