Hotels in Madrid & Barcelona
 

Hi everyone,

Next year our vacation takes us to
Spain for the first time. We will start in Madrid, and our final destination will be Barcelona. We will have other stops on the way, but any hotel recommendations for Madrid and Barcelona would be greatly appreciated. I already checked Trip Advisor, but would like other opinions.

We enjoyed the Continental Palacete in Barcelona - 130 Euros per night with a 24 hour buffet of food and drink. A charming hotel, great location, and excellent service.

Thanks for your recommendatons. We usually stay in 3 or 4 star hotels. Price can vary I know. Anything up to $150 to $180 per night is okay.

Please keep the recommendations coming. We really appreciate everyones imput. We have travelled to Europe every year since 2004. Most hotels I booked were recommendatons from you all, and Trip Advisors. Thanks again.

We had a suite at Hotel Banys Orientals in Barcelona and loved it. They book up months in advance for a reason. You can check out their website.

Hotel Villa Real in Madrid , part of Derby hotels. I think we paid 140 euros.

Apsis Atrium Palace in Barcelona, we paid 130 Euros

Both were booked in their websites.

On the coast we are looking at some of the Parador Hotels specifically Parador Hotel Aiguablava. Also,Parador Hotel Vic-Sau. Has anyone stayed at either of these Paradors?
