hotels in Lake Como/Florence/Milan
I will be traveling with a female colleague to a conference in Lake Como at the end of May. All hotels for the meeting are sold out. Any good list of lodging I can look at? Also arriving in Milan and would like to spend 2-3 days in Florence. Should I stay a night in Milan or go to Florence immediately by train. Wondering if it would be too tiring. Advice on reasonable lodging (around $100) in Milan and Florence

Although this is not a website, here is an answer (now getting a little "old") that references a resource that helped me a lot in 2000. Will be in Cernobbio, Lake Como at the end of May 2004. Made reservations at Albergo-Centrale hotel and at Baradello. The latter sounds real cheap-any reviews on these hotels?
