Hotels in Italy

Do hotels and B &B'S in Italy supply soap and shampoo like our hotels in the USA or do i need to pack my own? thanks

Don't know about B^Bs, but all the hotels I've stayed at in Italy offer shampoo and soap. Probably depends on the hotel, though. I always start a trip off with travel-size toiletries like that in my suitcase just in case.

I've never stayed in a hotel (anywhere) that doesn't have soap. I have stayed in a few cheaper hotels in Italy that didn't offer any toiletries other than soap, so no shampoo. It will depend on the level and type of hotel you stay at.

As for B&Bs, I don't know - I don't usually stay in them anywhere & I don't think the term is in common use in Italy. Do you mean something like an agriturismo ?

If you are used to a small washcloth when you bathe or to wash your face, you may want to pack a couple of your own. They are not widely used in Europe.

Have no knowledge of B&Bs. Have never had a hotel in europe without soap, shampoo and some sort of hand cream any time in the last 20 years. Caveat: We generally stay 4* - can't guarantee what you might get in 1 or 2.
