Hotels in Granada

Can someone help me with hotels in Granada? We will be there the beginning of April. Does anyone know about the new AC PAlacio Santa Paula or the Condor. Anyone recommend another hotel. The Carmen is already booked for my needed nights. Thanks so much.

I stayed at the Reina Cristina (Tablas 4) that is walking distance to the cathedral and to the plaza where there are buses to the Alhambra. It was 15000 pesetas for a room for 2, breakfast included; this was Sept, 2001. Parking cost me 1500 pesetas per day. The room was quite nice.

we were just in southern spain sept. 2001. our hotel in granada was our favourite. here's what i can find. it's Hotel America, an old private residence, inside the walls of the alhambra. gorgeous inner court yard to enjoy the evening with a glass of wine.

here's some info i found online.

Hotel América (Granada; tel. 958-22-74-71): This onetime private villa, located within the walls of the Alhambra, is one of the most popular small hotels in Granada. Its cozy bedrooms are filled with reproductions of Andalusian antiques. Plants cascade down the white plaster walls the ornate grillwork on the shady patio. Good-tasting, inexpensive meals are served in the hotel restaurant.

JP
