Hotels in Bingen?

Will be visiting Bingen, and can't find much info on the hotels there. Anyone know a good place to stay?

Have you checked the Michelin Red Guide to Germany? The price of lodging in Bingen is much lower than in Rudesheim, just across the Rhine and overrun with noisy tourists. I stayed at the Hotel Krone, Rheinkai 19, for a ridiculously low price. It faces a park directly on the river, near the ferry slip and not far from the railway station. Back then, it needed a facelift but was perfectly comfortable, clean, convenient, and low in cost.

Or you might try the little village of Obermoshel(sp?)not far from Bingen. There's a "Berg" hotel nestled on a steep hill w/ a castle ruin just above it. The room prices were about $55.00 per night inc. breakfast. Our room was quite large with a view of, what seemed, the entire rhineland.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Here's a site for Bingen in German; there's a hotel list with prices:

www.bingen.de/Tourist

Click on "Unterkünfte" at the left, then the "Hotels" box, and a list comes up. A couple have website links. For the rest, you can click on "weitere infos" to get prices and details in German. "EZ" means "single room", "DZ" double room. You can e-mail the local tourist office for suggestions, I assume. I've only stayed in the hostel there, so can't recommend.
