Can anyone recommend a nice quaint hotel in Berchesgaden something small.

If you have a car and am willing to stay in a small Alpine town just outside of B'gaden I have a recommendation for you in Ramsau. I have stayed there numerous times. Email me and I will find the information on Gasthof Oberwirt. <BR>Regards - Tom

The Watzmann is a great bargain. Inexpensive, great location, ample parking, big old rooms, fantastic staff and huge buffet breakfast.

I concur with Doug on the Watzmann. We have stayed there on three separate trips and will so again. Room rates are good, breakfast included, staff nice and in summer there is an outside patio to enjoy some beer. What else could you want?

We are staying at Hotel Bavaria for 3 nights in September. <BR><BR>Price for a doubleroom is a bit higher than some of the others...108 Euros, but the location is great and the hotel owners seem to be running a nice little operation. It is rated pretty high.<BR><BR>I checked alot of the other hotels in Berchtesgaden. This one seemed to fit our needs quite nicely.<BR><BR>Have a great time in Berchtesgaden<BR><BR>Mark
