Hotels in Barajas with transfer to Airport and Madrid
Hi fellows!
Arriving Barajas 9/13 early in the morning and going to Moscow on 9/14, need a reco for a good, not over the top hotel, with transfer to Airport and dowtown Madrid, in order to enjoy all our day(arriving early in the morning).
Please, let me know about what you have experienced.
Thanks in advance!

I'd spend the night in Madrid and take a taxi or express bus back to the airport the next day. It's not that far and I'd rather be in town. It also allows you to go back to your hotel to freshen up and/or rest before dinner.

If you are looking for a Barajas airport hotel with transfer decks, I suggest you the Hotel Clement Barajas (http://www.clementhoteles.com/?lang=en) or Hotel Täch (http://www.tach-hotel.es/en/tach.htm). They have 4 stars and the transfer is free.

Hilton has a transfer to downtown I believe but no one else does and it is surrounded by two highways. The Accor hotels are a nice chain also.. the Novotel and Pullman are located very near a metro stop plus great restaurant area an have free airport transfer. The IBIS is in Barajas pueblo near the Clement ( Have stayed at both). Either is good. Sign up at Accor hotels and you may get an offer and get the Ibis for as low as 35E. metro / bus available in Barajas Pueblo..
Downtown hotels will cost double probably but it would certainly be much more convenient given you have all day in Madrid.. to go back and rest.
My above hotel recs were not to convince you to stay at airport, just info I hope others can use.

Thanks Lincasanova and Pcllja!
In 2013 we ended rearranging our trip and making two longer stays in Madrid, in the very same hotel on the Gran Via we are used to book.
I agree this is much better than being near the airport! Plus we always enjoy Madrid( 2013 trip included St Petersburg, Moscow, Malaga , Granada and Madrid).
Thanks again and I also hope your info can help many other Fodorites.
