Hotels En Route in France

Our holiday company Brittany Ferries have booked us into 2 en route hoels in France. 1 is in Tours and one is in Chateroux. We are told they are part of the B & B chain of hotels, which have a vending machine system for guests rather than a reataurant on site. Can anyone give us any idea what this type of accomodation is like and what we can expect? Also do the vending machines require 10F coins?

Thanks Brenda

Sorry to be so negative but I can't imagine a worse nightmare than traveling in France and being reduced to eating out of vending machines! If there are no restaurants near these two B&B's, I'd cancel out quicker than you can say "microwaved croissant".

Think Motel 6. If you must, try to buy picnic makings en route to eat at night.

Sounds awful! and very un-French!

Again I typed wrong. It's JDH again. This B and B chain sounds a bit hard to believe.
