Hotels at Heathrow terminal 5

My husband and I need to find a hotel at Heathrow airport convenient to terminal 5. This is for May 3, 2014 as we have an early morning departure on a flight to Los Angeles.

For T-5, the Sofitel is the best choice and probably the nicest of the airport hotels, not to mention the only one actually located within T-5. It is not, however, the cheapest, but if you book early you get a better price.

How early is early? Even if it is really early and public transport isn't running it is probably cheaper to stay in London and use a car service to get to the airport

The Sofitel can be VERY pricey. There are other options - off airport (hoppa or short cab ride) or in central London. What time is your flight?

Sofitel is definitely very convenient. It's our hotel of choice when flying in or out of Heathrow T5.

The Hilton ( at Colnbrook) is also a very nice hotel and conveinient for T 5. It is regulary on Lastminute.com at very very good rates. You would need to take the Hoppa thought ( unless you have a car)
Most conveinient is The Sofitel and for an airport hotel it's actually very nice.

I like the Sofitel at T5. I booked it far in advance of our trip and pre-paid and got a much better rate.
As Smeagol says for an airport hotel it is very nice.

Premier Inn T5 is available for early booking plus you get a free bus to and from. Sofitel is more convenient but you pay dearly for it.
