Hotels around Titisee in the Black Forest
 

We are going to base ourselves in a hotel around Titisee for 3 nights during our trip to the Black Forest in September. There are many hotels outside the town (10-15 minute drive) that seem very nice. However, I don't know whether they will be convenient for getting to a restaurant for dinner every evening. I'd appreciate some feedback from those of you who have been there.

Titisee village is the worst tourist trap in the whole Black Forest. It consists mostly of tacky souvenir shops and the type of low-key restaurants that cater for tour buses. I'd rather stay anywhere else but there.

In the end we're staying at a hotel outside of Feldberg. Thanks for the tip.
