Hotels Amsterdam/Train Station
 

Does anyone know of any 3 star hotels directly opposite the train station in Amsterdam

Go to Google and type in "Amsterdam hotels". You'll get dozens of web sites offering good rates and location data.

vernie I stayed at the Victoria right across from the train station a 4 star paid 122 euro and was upgraded to a suite. At check out they provided a free airport train ticket.

Another plug for the Victoria. I always stay there when I'm in A'dam, 'cause it's not such a struggle dragging a heavy bag out of Centraal Station - it's across the street. I do think it's more of the 4 star than 3 star variety, though. The Inntel Amsterdam is nearby, and I think it's more 3-star-ish, but I've never stayed there.

There is an Ibis right next to the station, and plenty of others around Dam Square (one tram stop away).
