Going to England in late November staying at the Royal National Hotel. Can not find any info on it. Going with a tour do not have to much say, but would like to know a little about the place I am staying at.

My husband &amp; I hated it-it's a budget hotel. Yes, it's geared to tour groups.

I hated it too. It's an enormous (London's largest) package tour hotel with dormitory style rooms and endless hallways.

I'm afraid I'll have to add another bleah. We stayed there a long time ago ('89 or '92?). A good price, but my wife refused to go back - - said it reminded her of hostels when she was a student. But it's a nice neighborhood if you venture out from Russell Sq. itself.
