I've not stayed at Villa, but have rented an apartment a few doors from the hotel on rue Jacob, a terrific location in the 6th!

I'm not sure if you are talking about le villa on Rue Jacob, but if you are I stayed there Jan. 2005 3 nights. I thought it was very nice, a tad pricey, rooms are small but such is the case in Paris. If it is the one on rur Jacob-location is fantastic! Hope that helps.
