Hotel Villa Rosa in Venice
 

My husband and I are considering to stay at this hotel in September. It is near the Santa Lucia train station in Venice.<BR><BR>Has anyone stayed there and what is the area like? Is is safe?<BR><BR>Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Stayed there. It was clean and in a safe area. It`s off the main street kind of up an alley. It was close enough to everything, including getting on the water ferries. Try to get the room on the first floor near the dining room. It has a king size bed. There is also a small garden at this hotel, that we enjoyed. One morning we woke up and smelled the best smell. They were making home made croissants! The place is nothing fancy but is fine and convenient, and inexpensive.

The room we liked was also the closest room to the garden.
