Hotel Villa Maria Sorrento or Ravello?
 

Just wanted to clarify something. There's been a lot of recommendations for Hotel Villa Maria, but are they for the one in Ravello (address of 84010 Ravello, Salerno, Italy, http://www.villamaria.it) or Sorrento (address of Via Capo, 8 80067 Sorrento, Italy, http://www.hotelvillamaria.it). The hotels look similar, but I'm just not sure if they are the same or two different hotels. Please respond to let me know if they are the same or not. Thanks!

It was unpretentious but had nice airy and light rooms, was clean and had a nice pool. <BR><BR>It was also a nice location on a quiet road but only 10 mins from centre and only 2 mins from the nearest bars and restaurants. <BR><BR>The manager was an odd bloke and the half board food was awful but we didnt eat in the hotel anyway and breakfast was OK. <BR><BR>Dont know price as we booked it as part of a package but I cant imagine it being very expensive... <BR><BR>Kavey<BR><BR>

Jose<BR><BR>Ravello. We did not stay or eat there, but we did stop for a drink at sundown & the view from their terrace - listening to the church bells toll in a village on the next ridge - was one of our romantic highlights of the coast.

I've posted several times about the one in Sorrento.
