Hotel Terminus-Orleans, Paris - might be another budget option
 

I just read a recommendation for this hotel on the rec.travel.europe newsgroup.

Because at least a few posters here are interested in budget hotels in Paris, I thought I'd post the info.

It's probably too far out for me, but I'd certainly be tempted for the price.

Twins/ Doubles are 60E, in case anyone is interested. The metro stop is on Line 4, which runs N/S thru Montparnasse, St Germain, Gare du Nord...

No problem, Travelnut. The hotel has a sister hotel next door at 199 Boulevard Brune, Hotel Acropole, which is a little more costly. I did read a review of that hotel which said the road is very noisy, so presumably that applies to Hotel Terminus-Orleans too.
