Hotel suggestions in Como near train station?
 

We are looking to stay in a hotel in Como on our last night of our trip (5/30). We just want somewhere clean and relatively inexpensive, as we will be leaving very early in the morning to get to the airport. Any suggestions? It is hard to tell from tripadvisor what hotels are where in town.

As far as I know, the bus to Malpensa mentioned on the B&B's Web site no longer operates.

You can take the Ferrovie Nord train to Saronno and change there to a train to Malpensa.

As for the Trenitalia train station, I recall it as being further than 500 m from the lake and mostly uphill.

I drove past the Como Lago train station last falll it is virtually at the edge of the lake. I noticed the beautiful wrought iron building. There is another station uphill, I believe.

Pay attention to Zerlina! The Como Lago station is not the Trenitalia station!
