Hotel suggestions in Amsterdam

Looking for luxury accmodations. Considering the Ambassade,Pulitzer or Banks Mansion. Feedback appreciated.

Also, is Early may a good time to go to the bulb fields?

My friends love Banks Mansion. Also Pulitzer is a nice hotel, both are on the canals and close to city-center.
Early May is usually a good time for the tulipfields etc. Only this year spring is wamer as usual, but you will be fine.
If you have time visit Keukenhof:

These are not hotels, they are apartments. One of them is a penthouse with roof terrace. I have greatly enjoyed both:

You'll get a GREAT suite at the Ambassade for the price of a regular room at the Pulitzer and WIFI is included there...they charge 25 euros A DAY at the Pulitzer! The Ambassade isn't as grand but is a wonderful hotel. Banks Mansion is on a very busy corner, haven't seen the rooms so can't compare, but for my money, I'd rather have a 2 floor suite at the Ambassase anyday!
