Hotel suggestions for Orvieto - and Etruscan stuff?

I, too, think it bad form to divert attention from the original topic. It happens inadvertently sometimes in the course of the conversation but it seems to me a new thread in this case would have been appropriate. You aren't alone in thinking so, patriciabrogan, despite comments to the contrary. Have fun with your planning.

The question that revived the thread was not really a diversion. It was about Orvieto which is mentioned in the title.
But, if you don't need more advice or responses, why do you care that someone else revived the thread? For all we know, you've already taken your trip...

Well, my ex-husband and I stayed at the Hotel Duomo, which is just steps from the ACTUAL Duomo! Amazing, right? Well, not really.
That Orieveto is a pokey little town. It certainly doesn't have the action of New York City disco. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩.
I remember dragging my Louis Vuitton luggage up the hill. 😂😂😂😂
I think there should be golf carts. 😂😂😂
