Hotel Suggestion : Paris

Looking for a nice hotel with rates $100.00 -$115.00 US. To aid in the experience of visiting the city. Prefer location to be central and safe for walking. Thank you for your suggestions.

Before you go, see the "Americans becoming much less welcome in France" post".

You will probably be happiest in the 6th or 7th -- look for 3 star hotels in St Germaine or in the area around the
Invalides, or Rue Claire (Clare?). We're staying at Hotel des Grandes Balcons for about $86/night double in April. The price will probably be higher come June, but you can always ask.

Here is a hotel website. You can look in the 2* or perhaps some 3* for your price range. The 1ere-7eme arrondisements would be the central area of Paris. http://www.1stparishotels.com/

Don't bother to look at the "unwelcome in Paris" post.
I stayed at the Paris Hilton , near the Eiffel Tower. I thought it was a great location, big room , etc. I would highly recommend it!
We were fortunate to have a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower, really breathtaking at night. The location was great as well , quiet yet close to metro and restaurants. We were fortunate to get a very reasonable room rate and our request (upon arrival) of a view room was available.
