Hotel Suggestion for Munich

Hello, we will be in Munich from December 22-31st. I am looking for a hotel near Marienplatz that is around or under $200/night/room as we will need two rooms for us and our adult children. On our last trip, we stayed out in Bogenhausen but would like to be more central on this trip.

Thanks!

Go to Booking.com and see what's available.

I usually use the Platzl but I doubt you are going to get that for your price requirements but there are OTHER hotels nearby and basically as close to the Marienplatz which you would probably like.

Since the rates vary, it is always advisable to use a booking engine.

An alternative to booking.com would be www.hrs.com and also tripadvisor.com

was hoping $200/room ($400/night) was decent but we have to up the budget.

Thanks -

Marriott Courtyard has Deluxe rooms available from 110 euros for a Senior rate, 123 euros for the AAA rate or the prepaid rate. Dec 30 the price goes up but is still under 200 euros.

The full service Marriott is even cheaper but further away.

I know I sound like a fool when I say so, but you may try to break up your stay in 2 hotels and see what it gives : price of room is not stable along time, so it might be that for one night the whole stay explodes your budget.
So check the prices per night, not only by full stay.

You could also look for an apartment.

Right NOW you can get a room(s) at the Platzl for a total of $218 per night VAT and break fast included n Booking.com

Input that you have 4 adults and want two rooms

If they can get the rate that Dukey quoted, that's great for that hotel... we're paying $270 per night there this June.
