its hard to find any hotels web site. whenever i enter a name i just get hundreds and hundreds of booking sites featuring that hotel.
anyone know where to look to get a hotels official site if it has one?

Their own website is rarely first, I imagine due to their agreement w/Google (costs more)

Thanks Travelnut. Good search advice, too.
I'm having the same problem searching for hotels. It used to be so easy - put in the name of the hotel and their site would come up. Now all the paid booking services come up and it is virtually impossible to find the hotel site.

Hi all,
Google searches by counting the number of links to a site with the info you want. Thus, booking agencies will have higher priority on google than the hotel's website because more people go to booking agencies than to the one hotel.

There's also the Hotel Saint Germain on Rue de Bac. We stayed there and really liked it.
