Hotel St. Germain Des Pres?

Hello All,

Thank you for your advice so far - we are also considering the Hotel St. Germain Des Pres, has anyone stayed here? Any comments?

Thanks!

If you mean the one at Rue Bonaparte, since there is another one at Rue de Bac, if I'm not wrong, I've stayed there seven years ago. It's a nice hotel, wonderfully located, very close to the Cafe de Flore and Deux Magots.

The room I got was a little small, but aren't nearly all standard rooms in 3 stars hotels in Paris? However, everything was spotless, and we had a pleasant stay there. Staff were very helpful, and we had evereything we needed in the room, from a minibar and hairdrier, to a good shower.

Regards,

S

We stayed there on our first trip to Paris and thought it was perfect. The rooms are small but ours was totally wallpapered in fabric (I mean even the ceiling if I remember right), matching bedspread, very romantic. It was a little expensive but then my husband had to pay the price for not making reservations further in advance. lol

Are the deluxe rooms really tiny here (with an extra bed in it)?

Sorry this is a trivial question but we booked a room at Hotel St. Germain des Pres.

Do they have shower curtains?

If not, how did you manage to not wet the bathroom floor and everything else also?
