Boy, it is not easy to find a room in Siena even though it is for October. But we got a room at Hotel Santa Caterina. I read favorable posting about this hotel. Does anyone know how far it is from the center (e.g., from Campo or Duomo)? We do not have a car, so it has to be within 15-20 minutes from the central area. <BR> <BR>Thank you for your help.

<BR>santa caterina is very close to the piazza in sienna...5 minute walk...just down the road...you can also park across the street...

kate, thanks for the info. Santa Caterina has been very responsive and accomodating so far. This is one of the hotels I look forward to staying in Italy.
