Hotel Sainte Beuve

Has anyone stayed here? It looks wonderful. Thanks.

R. Sorry, have not stayed there. But the area (Rue Sainte-Beuve, 6th) is wonderful and the hotel*** looks ok as well, a real nice small boutique hotel. Quiet street. Close to Vavin and Notre-Dame-des-Champs metro stops, Montparnasse with all its wonderful restaurants and cafes and Luxembourg Gardens for a rest or a picnic.<BR>

We stayed there 4 or 5 years ago and it was very nice - the room was spacious for Paris, the decor was fresh and pretty. I would have prefered a closer Metro station. I wasn't disappointed, but I haven't returned, either. I believe the price was about $175.00 US then, and I think the dollar was weaker.
