Hotel Royal in Barcelona

We are thinking of booking this hotel as it has a good deal (we are trying to get a twin room for less than £100 per room per night) and would like to know if anyone has stayed there and how they rated it

thanks

Amanda

I stayed there last year, its got a good location on las ramblas, the rooms were not noisey, friendly staff and a good breakfast. It also has a small bar area where you can enjoy a drink before going out

We did book the royal and had a great time - you were right about the location on the ramblas - it was perfect.

Can you give more details on the hotel?
How much you paid, size of it? Breakfast included? Cleanliness etc.. Thanks.

I Cant remember how much we paid for the hotel royal, but i think it was in the region of £100 per room, including breakfast, it is not a huge hotel and it has a small bar area down stairs. The rooms were cleaned daily and have air con, heating, mini bar t.v, phone and bath and shower. The staff were helpful recommending resturants for us to eat at and spoke good english. On the down side the hotel i think looks ugly from the outside and it has no balconys, but if you wish to stay on las ramblas it has the ideal location
