Hotel Reservations through Orbitz for Europe

Hello.

I wanted to know if anyone has had difficulty with hotel reservations made through Orbitz for their trips to Europe? I usually reserve hotels directly through the hotel or even more often through the hotel chain's website if there is one. I recently made a reservation for a hotel in Prague through Orbitz because the promotional rate they were offering was much lower than what I could find directly through the hotel and it's parent company's website.

Thanks in advance.

Have a good day.

I used Orbitz to reserve a room at the Le Madison in Paris last year. No problems. I always confirm my reservation directly with the hotel the week before I leave.

Hi NY,

Orbitz is a large, reputable company.

This doesn't mean that you won't get the occasional problem.

Here's another Orbitz user for the Hôtel Madison. We've also used Orbitz for Nice hotels.

Conmfirm the reservation by e-mail with the hotel directly and then go on with other planning.
