Hotel recommendations in Munich

Looking for recommendations for a mid-priced, well-located hotel in Munich. Three couples will be travelling there in June. Thanks.

The InterCity Hotel-Munchen located at the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station) is an American-style hotel with large rooms. Rooms ran $100 weekend/$150 midweek. Its location made arriving by train easy--no need for taxi. Trains and tour buses for day trips were easy to access as was the subway.

Do you have an e-mail address for the Hotel Intercity in Munich?
We always (3 times)stay at the Hotel Europaischer Hof directly across the street from the Hauptbahnhof. Great location with a wonderful buffet breakfast included. The staff speak English. I highly recommend it. It is in your price range and they are located at:
http://www.hotelsgermany.net/munich/europaischer_hof/

I have to recommend the Munich Marriott in Schwabing. We got a great deal online for 1 night when we traveled there in March - it was US$115 for a very nice, decent-sized room and it included a wonderful breakfast buffet for 2. The location was superb - 1 block from the subway (a quick ride to Marienplatz) and it was adjacent to the highway that leads directly to the airport (we were driving to the airport to drop off a rental car).

Have fun in Munich - it is one of the most beautiful cities I've been to.
